I have a feeling that lots of these entries will be me rambling about my tates in music. So read on if you dare.
Grand revalation... Wings is an amazing band. And not just because it includes Sir Paul McCartney... the band works incredibly well on its own.
Tonight I listened to 2 of their most underrated albums, Wild Life and Back to the Egg. Wild Life is hit-or-miss, depending on one's tolerance for repetitive jamming. But still an interesting listen.
Back to the Egg... wow. It's amazing that few appreciate this era of Wings. There is great music on this record, a favorite of mine being "Spin it On." Paul even wrote a few disco-flavored songs, haha. Terry Hemmert refers to this as one of her favorite Paul albums... she's not kidding.
